Forklift Operator - Tip-out / Yard-load

Responsibilities

Tip-out
  • Tip-out finished product from building
  • Inspects equipment for wear and completed product for any defects
  • Helps scrape / stack rings as required
  • Helps scrape / stencil pipe as required
  • Stocks, organizes, and is responsible for the housekeeping of pipe and/or drycast products
  • Cleans kilns and tip-out areas after pipe is removed
  • Load/unload trucks, including material deliveries

Yard-load

  • Responsible for the loading/unloading of product onto trucks without damage
  • Verify product load/unloaded against tickets
  • Load/unload trucks, including material deliveries
  • Ability to use a forklift to stack finished product in the yard without damage
  • Distinguish different types of product (sizes, specifications) and resale items
  • Cleans areas around product storage (isles between pipe / precast)

Shift / Hours

  • Mon - Fri (Saturdays as needed)
  • 50+ hours / week

Desired Skills

  • Experience operating large forklifts (specifically 15,000+ lbs), and front end loaders
  • Work with Supervisors and co-workers (all departments) to achieve common goals
  • Understand (read / write) English
  • Time management, must understand "urgency" of manufacturing
  • Must be safety conscious
